Kennel Services
Our kennel services inclue full stud service of labs and German shorthair pointers. All of our studs have OFA hip certification and come from excellent hunting pedigrees. We also offer training for general obedience, ducks and other upland game. Our dogs are AKC registered and the shorthairs are actively involved in NAVHDA. We also offer the occasional litter of puppies. All of our dogs have strong pedigrees and are wonderful family pets.

Laborador Retrievers
Tucker is a four-year-old yellow lab that has a long line of fine qualities. He was our first dog and has really given us the inspiration to take our kennel to new heights. Tucker is a great family pet and truly wants to please his handler and anyone who hunts with him in the duck blind. His determination is clear when you send him out after a duck. He continues to amaze us as his training continues to be a pleasure as he is very willing to learn and applies each session during the next hunt.
Samantha is a four-year-old black lab that comes from a line of hunters and show dogs. She is full of spunk and also possesses a strong desire to please everyone. She is the social butterfly of our kennel. Samantha truly loves to be around people and enjoys showing others what she is capable of.
German Shorthairs
Duke is a four-year-old German Shorthair who possesses a very strong desire to please whether it is in the woods or in the yard. Once you let him loose in the woods he will cover a lot of ground in a short period of time. He loves to retrieve ducks in the water and he always enters with a big splash. He is just a pleasure to watch no matter what game you are in pursuit of. You will be hard pressed to find a dog with a better nose, trainability and desire than Duke. He also comes from a long line of champions, dual champions and hall of fame dogs. Duke's relatives include Hillhavens Hustler who is a dual champion and hall of famer. His grandfather is the well-known Trekker, who is the most titled German shorthair in history.
Max is a two-year-old German Shorthair pointer. Max is a sweet dog that is both tremendous to watch in the field and loves to be the center of attention in the family. He is the nephew of Moody Mountain Duke and so he too has an impressive background, which includes a long line of Stradivarius. Max received a prize one NAVHDA test at just six months of age.
Puppies For Sale
Duke has recently sired a litter of puppies with Lakeside Kennel's Dreams of Bella Luna. Luna had eleven puppies, 6 males and 5 females. They were born on January 1, 2008 and will be ready on March 3, 2008. We are excited to evaluate these dogs and invite you to contact Jim Orino at Lakeside Kennel to schedule a visit or discuss the new pups.
Dog Training
We offer training for retrieving, flushing and pointing breeds. Our training can assist you and your dog regardless of where they are in their training. We will bring out the natural ability in your dog through a variety of methods. We will begin by assessing your dog to determine what will be the best program. Your dog will have the opportunity to work behind lots of birds and we will incorporate general obedience, which facilitates a more pleasurable hunting experience for you. Once the training sessions are complete, we will hold a meeting with you and our trainer to discuss progress, commands and further training options.
- Rates: $450.00 per month
Weekly follow ups can be scheduled for $125.00 per week. A $200.00 deposit is required when your dog is dropped off. You provide the food while your dog is at our facility.
