Deer Hunting in Maine with Registered Maine Guide
We hunt both private and public land mostly in WMA 23 and 25. This area has some of the highest deer densities in the state and provides ample opportunities to harvest a quality deer.
We scout year-round using topography maps, trail cameras and a lot of walking to locate the best area to hang a stand. Once we locate where the deer are bedding, feeding and staging we plot these on a topography map as well as stand location. This gives us the ability to monitor the wind direction and place you in the best stand for that day's hunt.
Our guides are avid bow and rifle hunters so we know what it takes to place a comfortable stand and give you a better opportunity to harvest a mature deer. We use a number of different climbing, hanging and ladder stands. Or if you find a ground blind to be more suitable, we provide Ameristep ground blinds that are roomy yet conceal your movements and scent.
We provide transportation to and from your stand, tailgate or bag lunch, and care of your animal.
