Grouse Hunting
Here at Moody Mountain Outdoors we take grouse and woodcock hunting seriously. We spend countless hours training our dogs to be the best in the business to make n enjoyable hunt for you. Our dogs are close-working and hunt extremely hard to put the birds in the bag.
The grouse numbers have been on the increase in recent years and the woodcock are always plentiful. It is common to get as many as 20 or more flushes in a day. There isn't anything more enjoyable than walking in the Maine woods during October with the foliage changing and a couple of good pointing dogs working the cover in front of you.
If you wish to bring your own dog, we can provide an indoor/outdoor kennel for it to stay. We also provide transportation for the day's hunt and a hot tailgate lunch prepared on a gas grill. This is a great time for you and your friends to relax and enjoy all that the Maine woods have to offer.
